Inspired by the resurgence of interest in American Pick Up trucks from the 1960s-1970s in the United States, we decided to pay tribute to this trend by offering our own Resto-Mod of old Pick Up trucks.
Once relegated to the back of garages, these simple utility vehicles are now at the heart of American automotive passion.
Having explored the Ford Mustangs and Chevrolet Corvettes, Americans are now passionate about old Pick Up trucks.
The concept of "Resto-Mod", which combines restoration and modification, allows these old chassis to be brought back to life by restoring their bodywork while equipping them with modern mechanics. Old Chevrolets generally receive Corvette engines, while Fords receive Mustang engines and mechanics.
The electric remote-controlled car:
For our version, we chose to use the latest and most modern electric chassis, that of the Interceptor to which we added a brand new body with a vintage look from the 1960s-1970s Pick Up trucks.
Its independent suspensions and large ground clearance will allow you to have fun on all types of terrains including grass, asphalt, and dirt.
Equipped with a Brushless 2500 KV motor, a HobbyWing 50A ESC, and the brand new MHD4C 4-channel remote control, it has all the features to fully satisfy both young and old, and those who love the thrill of driving an off-road 4x4 remote-controlled car in XL size at 1/10 scale.
Its Brushless motor allows the MHDPRO Pick Up to have quick accelerations and a high top speed.
